Life with 2 kids....

So, here's a real post from me! ;-)

Sorry about my absence, but I think you understand :-)

I'm surprised I'm getting a post in today--it's my first FULL day home by myself with the two kiddos.

Yesturday BJ was gone in the morning to observe a class in Springdale, but he was home by noon. He went back to work today and has class tonight, so he won't be home until around 830 or so....

So far we're doing okay!

I just fought with Jordan for about an hour over a nap! But I think she might be sleeping now, so I suppose I won ;-)

Hayden is just the most perfect baby anyone could ask for!! I hesitate to say too much about his perfect-ness, for fear of jinxing it! He seldom cries and is generally pretty content with whatever! He is spending more and more time awake and eating more and more at each feeding.

I still don't have the milk supply to feed him soley breast milk, so he gets about 1 breast bottle to 2 formula bottles a day. I suppose it is better than no breast milk. Maybe I'll start getting more milk, I don't know.

So, let's see. Friday was Halloween. Of course, I didn't get any great pictures of J in her costume and not one of Hayden in his ghost onsie. I think my mom got some though, I'll have to have her send them to me. We went by my office that day so I could do a couple things and everyone there got to love on him!

My pictures are WAY out of order, but I'm lucky to be posting at all, so this is what ya get.

The Monday after Hayden was born, we had a shower by BJ's teachers at school. Since I was obviously unable to attend, BJ and Jordan went ahead. They all went in and got us this AWESOME sit and stand stroller that we really wanted. As if that wasn't enough, they also threw in some other goodies and a Target gift card!! So generous!!

The stroller is really quite cool. It has a place for J to sit in the back on a bench like seat, or it has a real seat u can put on. And Hayden's carseat clicks on for now, until he is big enough to sit in the seat himself. Way cool.

I took them out yesturday for a walk. Jordan LOVES to go for walks, and she really loves riding in the "strower."

Jordan LOVES to love on Hayden.....like seriously, ALL THE TIME---even when it's not convienent!

Some shots of my adorable son!

I can see his hair already starting to lighten--with his ear sticking out here, he could resemble me...who knows ;-)

A back shot of J's fairy costume...

She wasn't too sure about being dressed up....

My sweet friend and co-worker, Casey, holding baby Hayden...

My other sweet friend and co-worker, Karen, feeding Hayden....

On Thursday, the day before Halloween and the day we got home from the hospital, our friend and neighbor, Geneva came over to see if J wanted to go to a Trunk or Treat with her kids--and of course she did. She WOULD NOT wear her fairy costume this night. I thought for sure I'd wasted money on it--and we threw this outfit on her instead....luckily she did put the fairy outfit on on Friday...but she does make an awful cute cheerleader!!!

Okay--My house is a MESS and I have a million and one photo shoots to edit--so I should go do something productive!!

Hopefully it won't be as long in between my next posts!!

I am so sorry I didn't make it to the shower, I think I wrote you and explained, dealing with cramping and morning sickness.. Anyway - I will have to find a way to get the gift to you! I may have to mail it...
