So we got started on Hayden's room. We still have another coat of blue to do, touch ups and the putting up of the chair rail, but all of that will go pretty quickly.
I am really in love with the colors and it's going to look great when it's all done!
Here's a sneak peek...I really love the blue!!
In other news, I went to the doctors on Friday. Everything is just the same, still measuring 3 week ahead at 36 weeks. AHHHH. Can you measure more than 40 weeks?! If so, and I make it to Nov. 6th, I'll be measuring 42 weeks!
I'm really getting gi-normous. My total weight gain, is surprisingly only EIGHT pounds. I don't know how that is possible. I am FAR FAR FAR bigger than I was with J, and I gained 30 with her. Not that I'm complaining, it's just shocking to look down at my huge belly and know I only weigh 8lbs more than usual.
His heartbeat was in the 150s this week, and it usually hovers around that. My BP is still doing okay--which is good, bc it got high with J near the end. I have started to swell in the evenings but it goes down at night and is really not as bad as it was with J, yet. I am having a significant amount of back pain, mostly on my lower left side, but as long as I don't over do it, I am okay.
I honestly don't feel like I'm going to make it to the 6th. My next appt is Oct. 10th and she will "check" me at that one. I'll be 35 weeks but will prob measure 38 weeks. If I do, I am going to ask, ney, beg if we can move the date up--to the week of Oct. 20th. We'll see what she says. lol. I really don't know if she'll go for it, unless I've started to dialate or show other signs of labor...which I might, never know.
I'm pretty much terrified of going into labor. Mostly because I know it would not be safe if I did. But I also never went into labor with J, so I don't know if I'll know what it is if it starts to happen--so I'm pretty much freaking out at every new pain and feeling. I feel confident I'll "know," but it's still scary.
I did a photo shoot with a precious brand new baby girl yesturday....here's a favorite. See more here.
Jordan turns 2 this week. I can't even believe it's time already. Wasn't she just born?!
I hope everyone had a great weekend and has a smooth Monday--

Wow! It is amazing that you have measured three weeks further this long and they have not moved up your due date. I know how you feel about being scared when you go into labor. With Koy I was induced, so I was totally in denial when I went into labor with Dagan! I could not decide if it was the real thing or not!! I love the colors for Haydens room. Very cute!!
I love the colors you picked out for his room! I also never told you, but I think the name Hayden is adorable. I have a cousin named Hayden, or that would have been a name that I liked for us! Hopefully they will move up your c-section date! They orignally told me I would have one 2 weeks early b/c Brooklynn was so big, but now they're saying just a week early. I'll say a prayer that they'll let you go earlier--I know how hard those last few weeks are when you're big and miserable!
Love the room.
I know this is so easy for me to say but you are going to be fine. Do not freak out! It is all in God's hands. :)
I love Hayden's colors and I love the pictures of my neice! You are so talented. Marilyn was so happy with them. I hope your last few weeks go by quickly!
Love the photo shoot- makes me so pumped about my upcoming maternity shoot! : )
Love the room! Can't wait to see it all finished.
I'm measuring three weeks ahead too. Had a Dr. appointment today. I'm 32 weeks, measuring at 35. : ) Hang in there! It won't be long now.
So exciting that Hayden's birth is coming SOON! The room looks great!
I had a question... Do you mind if I steal your idea of "Throwback Thursdays" for my blog?
What a precious picture! I'll be praying for you over the next few weeks. I know that God will take care of you and little Hayden!
