Nursery...

So I think I've decided on a color scheme for the nursery. We were going to do baseball, but I think we've agreed not to. He'll probably have a baseball room sometime in his life and I'm sure he'll have lots of baseball stuff but I think we might go with browns and blues for now.
Oh, and we still have not decided on a name! So you can probably expect a post soon about name suggestions....

Here's some bedding I like....they're all very similar, but which one do u like best? I think I like the first one the best. But I really like the 2nd one a lot! I just can't decide!!

And here is a paint job I love--and I think we're going to try to do something similar....

I'm off work this week for a "stay-cation." We might take a weekend trip to Branson, but we're not going anywhere special. Anyway, we are going to try to get some painting done this weekend while we're both home. So, that is what prompted this post.

If we ever did do a baseball room, I'd like it to look something like this one (minus the redsox):

Jordan is also getting a new "big girl" room with the impending arrival of her brother, who will take the room she is in now. So, I've been trying to brainstorm about that too. I know (or think) I want to use bright colors. So far I have not found ANY toddler bedding that I love--all I can find is disney and crap like that--which I don't want to do! And I don't think we're going to try for a twin at this time-- I did find these and these are the color schemes I'm thinking we're going to do in her room--what do you think? Too bright? Should I soften it?

Hope everyone had a great Saturday!!!!

The bedding choice is hard, they are all cute, but I think the 2nd one is my favorite. And I love the bright colors for Jordan's room. ~Margo

the blue and brown is a classic choice-lovely! I keep being drawn by the stripes in #3. #1 is also really cute. Really, any of them are! :)

I think the bright colors are super fun for Jordan's big girl room.

#1 and #4 are my favorites also!! I like the 2nd pic / color scheme for Jordan's better! I'd definitely rather have bright colors than Disney stuff if I had a daughter too.

Hey........love the first choice! I also really like the paint choice too! :)

For Jordan's room, that comforter is cute. Although I am not a fan of bright colors in the room, something about over stimulation and such that I don't really like. I like a softer hue for bedrooms, more comforting. But that's just me. LOL

I guess I'm the oddball, but I like #2 for the nursery bedding. I think it's the simplicity of it.

Any are great, but that one is my fave.

As far as the toddler bedding goes...I love the polka dots. Very cute.

I love browns and blues together. I don't have a favorite one. I like them all. Just take different elements from each one and make it yours.
As far as Jordan's room goes. I did Calloway's nursery in hot pink, bright turquoise and black and white. LEt me tell you it is bright. But every we time we take her in there she is looking around at everything! I am totally into polka dots....go for it. Just do something simple on the walls so that it isn't too busy or stimulating.

Blue and Brown are great colors! Those are the colors in my own bedroom and bathroom, with a little dark red thrown in for fun! I like the first set the best with the polka dots and having stripes on the wall will make it way fun ;)

1st boy bedding=my fav.
polka-dots=my fav. also (none too bright)

As far as pics go, how's either a Mon./Tues./or Thurs. evening in the next couple of weeks. I'm sure you would like to do it sooner rather than later due to the fast approaching 3rd trimester. I sent you an e-mail tonight, but it got returned to me...what address are you using currently. For some reason, I thought I had the right one?! Basically, it just said that I'm giving up on getting a free wknd. to schedule it, so I hope that evenings really ARE okay like you mentioned previously. My babies are SUPPOSED to leave by 5:30pm, but I'll make sure they DO on the night we schedule it. Still interested mostly in all outdoor shots of Kennedy individually, as well as family ones. However, you've also taken some fabulous ones of Jordan inside w/ some of your props too. So, we're taking your lead on everything. Can't wait! I'll check back & see what you say. Then we can talk even more details. Fill free to e-mail if it's best.
