We're just busy around here at the Casa de Foshe. Spring is in full swing and I am busy with photo shoots out my ears! We've been very blessed.
Hayden is 5 months old! He is rolling over both ways, going after toys, his sister, and anything else he gets his eye on. He can roll and wiggle himself all the way around a room in moments!! Leaving him sitting on the couch or his changing table is no longer an option! He's on his way to being fully mobile! He's days away from sitting alone....he can do it for a couple seconds before he topples over, but he'll be doing it in no time! He's been experimenting with holding his own bottle for a couple weeks now and does so for a minute or so...won't be long now!
This is the point at which I start to really enjoy them...I'm not much for the infant stage...I like it when they react and can do a little more. He turns when you say his name, he grabs for us, he is making all sorts of sounds, it's just getting really fun!!
Jordan is still in love with him and will tell me "I'm gonna go talk to Hayden for a minute." It's so funny. She loves that boy and I'm so glad. When he's rolling around on the floor, she'll get down there with him and roll around with him, it's quite cute.
Jordan is, I think (I hope I don't jinx myself), coming out of what I hope was her "peak" of terrible two-ness. She has in the recent week or two had FAR less melt downs, has gone to bed easily, and is eating like a cow! She's always been a bit of a picker when it came to eating, but she has been wolfing down mulitple servings of dinner lately. I attribute this to the nice weather we've had and her ability to play outside and burn some of her exsessive energy!
I have been scouring Craigs List for a nice and cheap swing set for the kids, and I finally stumbled upon one last week....for TWENTY DOLLARS!!! It's fantastic!! It has two swings, a glider, a bench swinging seat, and the hanging bar thing...and a slide. It's a huge hit already and keeps her and the neighbor girls busy for hours. In a couple week when it finally decides to stay warm, we're gonna replace the bar thing with a baby swing for H...he'll enjoy it I think.
BJ is at the mid-term point of school and he is looking forward to having a bit of a break this summer. He has 2 more years of school and neither of us can hardly wait for that day!
My work is going okay, just really busy lately. I am still trying to be patient and wait on God to move me where He wants me, when He wants me to move. It's a struggle most days, but I'm working on being patient with Him.
So now that I've bored you to tears, I'm gonna show you a bunch of photos. Because that's how I roll.
Sweet Jordan Lovin!
This boy LOVES his feet!
Look at how long his hair is!!
Okay, so his sister decided she wanted a REAL baby to push around in her stroller!! he doesn't look amused!
I've posted many pictures of J dressed up....she loves to dress up...in her own fashion of course!
She was acting all shy and not wanting me to take her picture!
These are sort of old, but cute.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!
