Baby update and randomness...

Went to the doctor today. Heartbeat was 155. Everything was fine. I have gained 2lbs from my starting weight. Not bad for me. I'm 17 weeks! We got our date for the ultrasound and it is sooner than we thought!!

JUNE 26th!!!!!!!!!

Only 3 weeks away. I'm so excited I'm beside myself!! I can't EVEN wait!!!

Here's what the baby should look like about now...
In other news...I was watching my neighbor's little girl, Brooklyn, who is just about 6 weeks older than Jordan. They play a lot together. They don't usually get along much, but last night they were playing really good together. I had made them something to eat and they were eating in the kitchen at Jordan's little table. I left the room and was listening for them and I walked in a few times to check on them and they were just eating. A few minutes went by and I heard the pantry door shut. Jordan will get into the pantry sometimes and "play" with spices or things....so it wasn't that unusal. I waited for her to bring me something because that is what she usually does. A couple minutes passed and it was pretty quiet, which is never a good thing with two 20 month olds. So I went in and this is what I saw:

She had a ball playing in the instant potatoes. Yes, I use instant most of the time. I know, I know...real are better, but who has time for that? I usually don't. I actually really like instant potatoes, so call me crazy. At any rate, the damage was done, so I just let her play in it for a few minutes. Then I asked her to help me sweep it up.

I fixed Jordan's hair the cutest way this morning...well, I thought it was cute. So I tried to get a picture of her before we left. She didn't want her picture taken, so I held her and tried to get a shot of the two of us. It didn't go well, but this one was the best one....

Since it's been so warm, Jordan has been playing in the pool some. We plan to get her a bigger one when it gets really warm, but she's having fun in this one for now.

She has always been a water baby. She could live in the water if we let her, that and on the swing. There is a really nice small water park not far from where we live and I feel sure we'll be visiting it often this summer! Isn't she precious?! I can't get over how big she is.

I hope you all are having a good week!!

Oh my word! The potatoes!! That's funny, though, that you immediately grabbed your camera. I guess that's a blogger for ya :)

And yes, her hair is adorable in the pigtails!

Her little hair is so cute!! We have had several pantry messes like that! Who knew that playing in the pantry could be so much fun!

I got your email and am definitely interested in having you take his pictures. I am wanting to do it around 18 months which is still like a month and a half away. I will get with you and see if we can pick a day! Thanks!!

Brandy... the whole playing in the potatoe thing is great. You are such a great mom.. you let her play and then asked her to help you clean.... something I would have done if I thought about it. I admire your mommmy skills!! I love the pictures as well.
