Snow Baby

So I'm learning a little more bit by bit. I learned how to make a paperclip look like it was really paperclipped---which excited me beyond belief! I'm not sure how I feel about this layout overall. I really like most parts of it, but I'm not in love with the text or the polka dots. I tried to mix some patterns, and well, I don't usually do that, because I like things simple and clean, but I thought I'd try it out. I'm not crazy about it, but it looks ok I guess. What do you all think?
