So I'm trying my hand at this "digital scrapbooking." We'll see. So far, I think I like it. This layout is pretty simple, but I'm working on some more complex ones. I think I might like it. I absolutely cannot wait to have Jordan's 1st year of her life scrapbooked for real, which my friend Jessica is doing, but after that, I think this digital scrapbooking may be the answer to my problem. I have some computer skills, graphic artsy stuff I can wade my way through...the real live paper and scissors, not so much. There is no UNDO button when I accidentally cut something off I wasn't supposed to with the scissors. And this way I can play around with different looks without wasting supplies. It's so me. Anyway, I can't wait to learn more!

Wow!! That is to die-for cute! So fill me in... I am more of a paper and double-stick tape girl.. Can you print these out in color, or do you just made a digital album and keep it on the hard drive? How do you do it? What program are you using?
I'm still learning, but they are high resolution and large so they can be printed. What I've seen is the photo books are used for the printing of them--which is genius if you ask me. I am using Photoshop, but you can use any photo editing program I believe, many are available for free download if you search "free digital scrapbooking."
That is too cool! That might be the answer to my problem, too. I just don't have time for the sissors and tape anymore!
Congratulations Brandy. That's a great first layout.
Glad to hear you've taken the plunge and jumped into digital scrapbooking. And don't you feel proud when you make that first layout.
Perhaps you might be interested in clicking over to my blog, Scraps of Mind and checking it out. I write articles, tips and tutorials for digital scrapbooking. I use Photoshop Elements but most of my stuff is easily translatable to Photoshop and a lot of it is generic for digital scrapbooking whatever software you use. Hope to see you there.
Cute, love ladybugs...
