Throwback Thursday

I have posted a few square dancing pictures before, but these are more recent. These were from 2006 and this was BJ last year to call a group. I don't know if he'll call this year, I'm sure he will if he's asked. He really enjoys it. It's pretty fun to go and watch them all dance in their cute coordinating outfits. BJ hasn't danced in years, but has been a caller for about 7 years. Anyway, here's a few pictures for Throwback Thursday. Next week, I'm planning a lengthly throwback thursday, showcasing some of my old photographs from my mission trip to the Phillippines in 2000, so stay tuned!

Silly Girl!

I literally laugh at Jordan all the time. She's the funniest kid. Okay, maybe not the funniest, but the funniest I get to be around all the time! She's always doing something that is funny to me. While we were at Claudia's she decided to play in the dryer. Here's a photo montage of my child in a dryer.

Daffodils...

As part of our mini vacation, we went down to Central Arkansas to visit a couple friends of ours. Our first stop was to see Claudia (whose health is much better!). She has a little girl who is 13 months old named Jayce. We took her and Jordan up to Wye mountain for the Daffodil festival. It's just this huge mountain covered in daffodils. It's beautiful. Jordan wasn't very cooperative, since she was outside and just wanted to run crazy. But here's some of the shots I got. I'll be posting more pictures from our trip in the next several days!

Throwback Thursday

I've posted a wedding photo here and there on the blog, but I thought for today's Throwback Thursday, I'd post some of my bridal portraits. My best friend Ashley and my other friend Jami went with me and we had fun. Here's some shots. Of all the pictures that I've ever had made of myself, these are by far my favorite. The quality of these aren't the best, because again, they're pictures of pictures, but you get the idea.

Sorry the the delay in posting. We just got back from our mini vacation to central Arkansas where we visited with old friends and had a blast!! More of that to come later.

Throwback Thursday

I know, I'm a little late. This morning when I would have normally posted, I thought it was Friday, man was I disappointed when I got to work and it was Thursday!

At any rate, a late, but dutiful Throwback Thursday for my faithful fans! All 3 of you!

Ever heard of BARN SWINGING? It's a BLAST!!! I think we were at Doennig Sports Swings in Missiouri. I googled them and can't find a website for them, but they have lots of stuff, like paintball, hayrides, bon fires, etc... It's really fun. I went a couple of times when I was in high school with my church's youth group. My best friend's dad was my youth minister and he always took us fun places to do fun things!! There's also some man-made ski resort thing in Missouri that we went to, which was really fun. I'm still looking for those pictures...but anyway

It's literally a big barn. There's all these differen't swings and platforms, and you sit on this rope, no board, no seat, just a rope, and you swing around. The goal is to swing ALL THE WAY around and land back on the platform.

Let's just say, I don't think I ever made it back around. It's so much fun, I wish I was better at describing it, but really, it's a blast!! Here's some pictures from my vault. I don't know what year these were taken, but I think somewhere close to my senior year? Not certain though.

I've been married to my wonderful husband since August of 2004. We have one BEAUTIFUL daugther, Jordan McKaie, who is 17months old going on 5! We just found out last week that we're expecting baby NUMBER TWO!! Due in November! We're so excited and scared at the same time!

We both work full time away from home, but have a great family and support system that helps us so much!

This is our (my) blog that I use to share the normal musings that are my life. I post here about the wonderful and not so wonderful elements of motherhood, my job, our family, and mostly pictures of the greatest joy of my life!

Lately, I've dabbled in a little bloggy design work--I'm really behind on posting my latest creations, but you can see some of my designs here. Stay tuned, because in the next week or so, I'll be posting about 4 new designs!
