Mr. Z

I could not wait to get these up!! We shot these today and I took about 350 photos!! Zayde was soooo cooperative and smiley!! He has the best disposition. He never got cranky, not even a little!! I had so much fun taking photos of him. If he was my child, I'd probably never get anything done because I'd always be clicking away! Mom was great and did some really neat "impromtu" stuff that made for some sweet photos of the two of them!

Mostly nothing...

There will likely be no pictures on this post. It's Thursday and even though it is a short week with Monday having been a Holiday, it's proving to be one of the worst weeks ever. First, BJ's summer school classes started Tuesday and he's taking a night class. Monday thru Thursday nights from 6-830. It means we really don't see each other but for about 30 minutes before I'm asleep! It's a short class and will be over the first of July, so I can endure it, but it's not fun. I was on call all last week through Monday. It wasn't a horrible on call, but I did get a pretty bad case on Saturday that I've worked non stop since then. Minus yesturday because I was in Sherwood for some stupid training that really had next to nothing to do with what I do. So that was annoying and the drive meant I had to get up at 4am to go and got back at 800pm. Not a fun day. At any rate. This case that I've been working has been really hard on me. I'm not quite sure why. It's not the worst or the most serious case I've ever worked. I have seen worse. But for some reason, I'm very emotionally charged about this case. I've cried over it, I can't sleep and I'm overall just frustrated and annoyed with the whole thing. I don't know if it's my hormones, burn out or a God thing.

In other news, I've been feeling the baby move for a couple weeks now, but lately it's gotten really noticeable. I know you feel it sooner with your second, because you know what you're feeling, but it still feels really early. But I love it! It's my most favorite part of being pregnant. What I'm not enjoying is the heartburn that has kicked in and is much more frequent than it has been. I had it really bad with Jordan, so I imagine it'll only get worse. I'm also waking up in the night to pee, which is something I only do when I'm pregnant and I HATE it because I have the most awful time falling back asleep. Once I wake up, I start thinking, mostly about work and then I can't sleep.

Jordan will be 20 months next week and I can't hardly believe we're four months away from 2!!!!!! She's learning so much every day and she's communicating so well. I don't know why, but I'm still surprised when I hear her say a new word. I heard her say "chicken" for the first time Tuesday night. She said "watch me" today, which is just precious! Her hair is just almost long enough for a pony tail and we pull it off with a little help from a barette or bow in the front for the short pieces. It's absolutely precious as well.

I have several photo shoots coming up in the next several weeks so I'm really looking forward to those, so be looking for those previews! One shoot I'm doing is a brand new less than 2 weeks old newborn and I cannot wait!!! I'm soooo excited to do those, as I've never done newborn pictures--and I always admire them! I hope mine turn out as good as I hope!

By the way, this is my 301st post. Which I just noticed and I'm a little surprised by. I can't believe I've posted that many times.

In other news, I totally chopped my hair off. I haven't taken a good picture of it, but I will soon and I'll post it. It's short, but cute, I love it. It's a short stacked bob...So much easier. I feel like it's a "mom cut."

Anyway--without further ado-my baby. OH, and YES, I do realize she is the cutest child on the face of the planet ;-).

The S Family

This is the last of the four shoots I had this past weekend. This is the S family. It's the first time I've photographed a large family--and it was a challange, but I think we got some good shots. It was almost impossible to get the little guy to cooperate in a group photo, so we did the best we could...and I think we did okay. ;-)
