Some of the four of you will undoubtedly find this cruel and not funny at all. But some of you, will find this quite humorous, as I did. She is trying to get my camera. My camera people. I give this child most things she wants. But my camera, the thing I love 4th most in this world. I don't think I can take that kind of a risk.

I was trying to get to 10, but I'm simply out of ideas. The pressure to complete this post has obviously gotten to me. No other time would I have trouble coming up with 10 luxery items I'd love to have. Oh the woes of blogging. :-) I keep thinking of things I would like Jordan to have...guess I could do a wish list post for her....but that sounds like a lot of work and well I'm just not up to it tonight. Maybe later.

I'm Back...

Well, after several days of stuffing myself with Turkey, Ham and all the fixin's, I'm back to the blog. In the midst of the Holiday, I photographed a wedding. It was my first indoor wedding and let me just say that church lighting is not optimum...in fact it's far from it, it pretty much stinks! But I think we got some decent shots, and well, I'm still learning. Anyway, here's my favorite shot from the wedding.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and got to spend time with the ones they love.

Another thing about me...

I worked from home today. I had a lot of typing to do and my home internet server is light speeds ahead of what the state is willing to shell out for internet service at my office. So, when I have no appointments and a lot of typing to catch up on, sometimes I will plant myself at my home desk with the TV on and type my heart away. That is what I did today. It was a productive day.

When BJ got home, he comes in and sits down and this is what went down:

BJ: Why are you wearing clothes?
Brandy: What?!
BJ: I mean real clothes.
Brandy: What?
BJ: I just thought since you were at home you'd be lounging.

You see, if I am at home, I am in what I call my "lounge" clothes or my "house" clothes. Just comfortable clothes. Cotton pants, oversized t shirts, or lately, sweats and oversized sweatshirts and warm socks! The first thing I do when I come home from work is hug Jordan if she is home and the 2nd thing I do is change my clothes!!! I love to be comfortable!

Here goes:

1. I pluck my eyebrows EVERY day. Not because I'm compulsive or anal, but because I have to. They grow insanely fast--and you've seen the old throwback pics of me with 4 eyebrows, so it takes work to get them down to two.

2. I LOVE Reba. I have posted on this before. It is a sad fact that few people understand, but it's just part of who I am. I will meet her one day--I promise you!

3. I never wore braces. People assume I did, but fortunately God just blessed me with nearly perfectly straight teeth. I was 15 the first time I ever went to a dentist. Since then I've been maybe 3 times. I should go more, but ya know.

4. I love peanut M & M's & Diet Dr. Pepper like no other!

5. I have no memory. I can't remember crap. Bj makes fun of me all the time. I think it came from having a baby--she took all my brain cells.

6. My first major in college was computer engineering. I still love computers and graphic art, but that's about where it stops.

7. I wear the same 3 pieces of jewelry everyday. I wear the pair of white gold hoop earrings that BJ got for me our first Valentines day and I wear my wedding band.

8. and a bonus: In doing this, I found I'm not really all that exciting or random.

Throwback Thursday--Hair Edition...

I've had some doozies....as you already know...here's some of the many hairstylings of me.

4th grade

5th grade...
look at that nest! I probably spent upward of an hour and bottle of hairspray on it!

9th grade...don't ask me what I was thinking!

10th grade

As you can see, for many years, I had a major bang problem...oh who am I kidding, it was an overall hair problem. I really don't know what I was thinking for many of them. I guess what's important is that I finally got it under control?!

Dirty....but Cute!!

I am a firm believer in letting kids be kids. And that means they get dirty! I don't usually let her stay dirty for very long, but she'd been playing around the house on this evening eating something messy--so there ya have it... My dirty, but stinkin adorable child!





Don't mind the little red bumps all over her body, she was having an allergic reaction to her allegery medicine (ironic uh?!), and we hadn't figured it out yet. But we have now, and so the poor girl can't breathe for the congestion and running nose that she alternates between. On to yet another medicine to see if it works with no nasty side effects! Why couldn't she just have gotten his dimples ;-)
